BLM Uranimun Mine Withdraw
On Jan 10th 2012 Department of the Interior Secretary Ken Salazar signed a order freezing approximately 1 million acres in Northern from any new uranium exploration and/or mining activites for 20 years.

The DEIS is available online at http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/prog/mining/timeout.htm

The loss of these mines could have a devistatingly negative local economic impact.

It is very important that Fredonia citizens voice their opinions. You may email comments to NAZproposedwithdrawal@azblm.org
