Fredonia is the gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.   The North Rim area offers trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Visitors enjoy seeing the Grand Canyon from the North Rim because they can experience the wonder and beauty without large crowds and high temperatures.  Gazing across the canyon, tourists can enjoy majestic sunrises and sunsets, secluded camp spots, and relaxing hiking trails.   Fredonia is also located within a short distance of other National Parks, National Monuments, State Parks, and scenic outdoor recreation spots. 

Fredonia is located along the northern border of Arizona on Hwy 89A. It is 7 miles south of Kanab, Utah and about 75 miles north of the Grand Canyon. View Area Map.
