Please note that the gentlemen that empty the trash cans & dumpsters are taking a Holiday tomorrow July 24th, 2018.  Trash cans and Dumpsters will both be picked up on Wednesday July 25th.






NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at a Regular Meeting of the Fredonia Town Council to be held in the Council Chambers, 25 N. Main Street, on August 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., it is the Council’s intention to amend the Citywide Fee Schedule, effective September 1, 2018 for certain utility fees.  This item will appear on the action portion of the Council agenda to allow an opportunity for public comment.  A copy of the document supporting the amended fees was posted on the City’s website on May 3, 2018.

Burn Ban

A Burn Ban has been implemented in our local area, effective beginning MAY 1, 2018.  If you have any questions feel free to call the City Office or speak with our Local Fire Department Personnel.




The Town of Fredonia has 3 seats open for Council.  

The seats are all 4 year terms.  Packets are available at the Town office and must

be completed and returned no later than May 30, 2018 by 5:30 pm.

Fredonia Historical DVD Now Available

The Fredonia Historical Society is proud to present a remarkable centennial collection of historical black and white photographs.  The DVD is only $25 and is available at the library and Town Office.  Also available is the History of Fredonia book for only $10.  There is also a Cookbook available!

Historical Society Needs Your Help
The Fredonia Historical Society is seeking histories of Fredonia and its people from pioneer times to the present.  The histories will be stored in the Society's Archive Collection as a permanent record of our community.  Anyone interested in submitting histories contact VeRene Tait at 643-7223.
